Palomino County is a media company and lifestyle brand rooted in American tradition, culture, and style. Our mission is to offer an aesthetically-driven, thoughtful, culture-rich brand that puts family, freedom, and faith at the center of the conversation. In essence, Palomino County is a mindset, a way of life, and a celebration of the people who move us forward while leaving behind great legacies. Today, we showcase our mission through print, digital, and social media content; the future vision is to create a 360-degree brand that includes everything from retail products to hospitality locations.
What’s in a NamE
​The significance of the word “Palomino” is rooted in its history. Meaning “young dove” in Spanish, the palomino horse was a sign of nobility and elegance, and it is known for its gentle, friendly nature. Rather than specifying a particular breed, Palomino has to do with the light color and markings—the “aesthetic” of the horse. Thought to be one of the most versatile in the equine world, the Palomino can be found hunting, show jumping, riding on dusty trails, or relaxing on a family farm.

Rebekah Iliff is an accomplished business leader, award-winning humor writer and producer, and forever entrepreneur. She has founded three companies, including tech startup Onclusive which sold to Symphony Technology Group in 2021. Her writing has been featured in publications ranging from Fast Company and Forbes to Weekly Humorist and the Erma Bombeck Blog. Her first book and short film, Champagne for One: A Celebration of Solitude (2022), collected 14 short film awards and several major book recognitions including “humor book of the year” by Foreword Reviews; “top 10 personal development books” by Spy Magazine; and “best gift book” by Publisher’s Weekly.
As a seasoned business executive and advisor, Rebekah consults with emerging and established companies on story development and content strategy. She has led successful launches and growth marketing strategies for over 150 brands ranging from technology startups to retail outlets to book titles. She and her husband own Free Dreaming Farm in Springfield, Tennessee, where they, along with their two pups, regularly host some of today’s leading country music artists for writer’s retreats, music video productions, and photo shoots.
