A Napa Valley Holiday, Dressed for the Occasion

From afternoon tastings to evenings by the fire, discover the art of holiday dressing with luxurious layers, rich color, and a touch of Western influence

Napa during the holidays isn’t about sparkle for sparkle’s sake. The mood is quieter, richer and considerably more relaxed: luxurious fabrics, saturated color and pieces that can move effortlessly from an afternoon tasting to dinner by the fire.

Trade traditional holiday red for deep teal, merlot, chocolate and silver. A fluid silk trouser paired with a matching top creates a long, elegant line while still feeling wonderfully comfortable. Then bring in the texture: a fringed shearling layer, embossed silver bag, sculptural jewelry or a beautifully polished Western boot adorned with silver tips as an homage to silver bells. The result feels special.

Napa holiday style is ultimately about understated abundance: beautiful wine, beautiful surroundings and clothes that feel luxurious enough for the occasion but relaxed enough to enjoy the Harvest Celebration or Napa Valley Film Festival.
