A Palm Beach Holiday in the Sun, Styled for the Season

Where tropical color and polished glamour make waves on holiday tradition

Palm Beach

Palm Beach has absolutely no obligation to pretend it’s cold outside.

Holiday dressing here trades heavy velvet and winter coats for lightweight knits, cotton, color and the kind of pieces that move beautifully between lunch, cocktails and dinner outdoors. Instead of defaulting to traditional red and green, borrow from the subtropical landscape: chocolate brown, bougainvillea pink, olive, citrus and jewel tones.

A printed sarong-style skirt immediately sets the tone. Pair it with a beautifully simple sleeveless knit, an elegant mule and jewelry that catches the last light of a Palm Beach sunset. A cashmere wrap handles the occasional evening chill, while a rich burgundy bag gives all that tropical color a sophisticated anchor.

Most importantly, resist the temptation to dress for a holiday somewhere else. Palm Beach style has always understood the pleasure of color, print and a certain polished eccentricity.

Christmas may arrive with palm trees instead of pine trees. Dress accordingly.
