Our Nashville Derby SOCIAL EVENT OFFERED style and a history-making victory

Palomino County’s "Derby Social" brought Southern charm, signature cocktails, and race-day excitement to Harper's Steakhouse on Saturday, May 2, 2026. We gathered with our guests in Nashville for an afternoon that celebrated the traditions, style, and spirited energy that make Derby Day one of the most anticipated events of the spring season.

From the moment our guests arrived, the atmosphere was festive and welcoming. Harper's Steakhouse set the tone with a selection of light bites and a discounted bar, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon of mingling, sipping, and celebrating.

Premium pours elevated the experience, with Southbound Tequila, SirDavis, and Moët & Chandon helping us toast to the occasion. Southbound Tequila offered tastings of its distinctive tequila and introduced the “Brim and Bloom,” a special Derby-inspired cocktail created exclusively for the event. SirDavis provided tastings of its award-winning whiskey alongside classic Mint Juleps, while Moët & Chandon was passed throughout the afternoon, adding celebratory bubbles to every toast.

Style was an essential part of the experience thanks to Norton and Hodges, which curated a beautiful display of handbags, scarves, and jewelry. Their thoughtfully selected pieces brought an added layer of sophistication and gave our guests the opportunity to discover timeless accessories inspired by the elegance of Derby Day.

As post time approached, we placed our bets and gathered to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports. The afternoon culminated in an unforgettable finish as the Kentucky Derby delivered a thrilling race and Golden Tempo surged to a history-making victory.

From expertly crafted cocktails and sparkling champagne to standout style and the excitement of the race itself, our Kentucky Derby Social was a memorable celebration of tradition, community, and the timeless allure of Derby Day.
